A delightful walk criss-crossing the Adur Valley from Steyning towards Henfield and back including New Barn Farm, Nep Town and Huddlestone Wood. Mainly level terrain, uneven in places, a few stiles, and maybe mud after rain. Bring a packed lunch, drinks and refreshments. Toilets at the Steyning Centre. Sorry! No dogs.

Today Wiston House is an international Conference Centre, but what of its history? The Elizabethan manor house was built in the 1570s. It stands on the site of a much earlier dwelling. A Lord Treasurer used it as one of his rural retreats and a royalist owner left hurriedly during the English Civil War. Join the Wiston Estate historian to discover more!
