England moved into Step 4 of the Government roadmap on the 19th July, when all restrictions on meeting people indoors and outdoors were lifted.
People can now meet in a group of any size and any number of households.
Our priority is the health and safety of our everyone involved with the Steyning Festival, organisers, volunteers, artistes, attendees and we ask that everyone continues to support efforts to reduce the spread of the virus as we move out of restrictions.
Although our Festival is predominantly held outdoors, we will continue to work in line with Government recommendations, and ask everyone:
Be mindful of the needs of others by making space, particularly in busy areas.
Consider wearing a face covering when in enclosed spaces.
Use hand sanitiser, available at the Festival entrance and in the enclosure.
Please DO NOT attend an event if you or someone else in your household experiences COVID symptoms or has been told to self-isolate.
Additional safety and hygiene measures will be in place, including availability of hand sanitiser for on-site and enhanced cleaning.
Anyone should self-isolate if they or someone in their household has a new, persistent cough; a high temperature; or loses/has changes to their sense of taste or smell, even if these symptoms are mild. They must also self-isolate if they or someone in their household has had a positive COVID-19 result, or if they have been told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace.
