What’s it about?
Janet Pennington takes you on a walk through 700 years of Steyning’s pub and brewing history. See where breweries, malthouses, inns and public houses were situated in the past and whether we can find any traces of them today. The White Horse, the Chequer Inn and The Star are still with us. Here is your chance to hear and see something of the alcoholic history of the town. There will be some time at the end of this two-hour ramble (with plenty of stops) to take a pint at your favourite watering hole.
