Access Steyning Festival is committed to making your visit easy and enjoyable. Events take place across several venues/locations, each with their own level of accessibility. For more detailed information or to make special arrangements please email admin@steyningfestival.co.uk. The Big Top can be chilly in the evening so please do wear suitable clothing.
Transport to Events in the Festival Steyning Good neighbours will help with transport to events for those who are unable to get there under their own steam. They will pick you up at your own front door, drive you to the venue entrance and then back home at the end. Passengers are asked to donate towards the cost of the service with a typical return journey in Steyning costing £5.00. ‘Phone 01903 816181 to make a booking.
Challenge 25 A ‘Challenge 25’ policy will be in place at the bar. Any person attempting to buy alcohol who appears to be under 25 will be asked for photographic ID as proof of their age. The only ID that will be accepted are valid passports and UK driving licenses with a photograph or proof of age cards bearing the ‘PASS’ mark hologram.
Noise We will ensure that sound levels are regularly monitored throughout events and operate within appropriate levels. Any enquiries or issues should be reported to: 01903 333195
Artwork for a Big Top Display
Would you like to have your picture displayed around the Big Top during the festival? We are looking for artwork to liven up the fencing which surrounds the area. Ideally we would like the pictures to be size A3, laminated, and depicting the theme of revolution. All ages welcome. Please include Name/Age/School (if applicable) in the bottom left hand corner of your picture. You can drop your artwork off at St Andrew’s Church which is open daily. Ideally we would like these by 20th May but you can also bring them down to the Big Top on Thursday 24th May. Please ring Debra on 07969 311109 if you have any queries.
Buy a Festival Bag
This year we are launching a special Steyning Festival bag, which will be on sale for £6 and will help to raise funds for the Festival. You will be able to customise your bag at the 'Co-create Your Own Bag Workshop' with Sarah Burns & Alice Garner on Monday 4th June.
