An exploration of the life, adventures and writings of the revolutionary romantic poet Lord Byron, concluding with dramatic readings from his masterpiece Don Juan which he started in 1818. After Shakespeare's sonnets and Jane Austen's Emma in previous festivals, Jeremy Tomlinson turns to the remarkable life and work of Byron and will be joined by other readers to bring to life his comic romantic hero Don Juan. Not suitable for children or the faint-hearted!
