The interplay between humans and the rest of the natural world, as expressed in the creative arts and in older spiritual traditions, are themes explored in these poems. They move from the familiar to the surreal, from the everyday to epiphany; music emerges from landscape, a Celtic goddess gives birth to the seasons, and people enter the wild world. Paula’s poems are published in literary magazines, national newspapers and anthologies. She has also enjoyed collaborations with visual artists. Poetry readings include, among others, St Anza International Poetry Festival, Dundee Literary Festival, Edinburgh Book Festival and, of course, Steyning! Her poetry has been supported by Arts Council Bursaries and Hawthornden Fellowships. She has published three poetry collections, the most recent 'Under a Spell Place'. HappenStance Press 2015 This event is not suitable for young children.
