This talk will give a rare “behind the scenes” insight into how a blockbuster exhibition is researched, planned and set up. Ben Russell is Curator of Mechanical Engineering at the Science Museum, London and last year he was responsible for staging the hugely popular exhibition “Robots” which is now on national tour. Ben Russell has curated four other major displays at the museum including Cosmonauts and James Watt's workshop. Robots explored the 500-year story of humanoid robots and the artistic and scientific quest to understand what it means to be human. This talk will include video illustrations.

N.B. There is no parking at the Gluck Studio. Please use the town car parks.
