Seventy years ago saw the first civilian courses held at Wilton Park. Since then it has hosted a wide range of conferences and meetings bringing together leading representatives from the worlds of politics, diplomacy, academia, business, civil society, the military and the media. Who better to reflect on this vital work and to look ahead to see what we might expect in the future than Sir Malcolm Rifkind? As the longest serving minister of the 20th century, Defence Minister and Foreign Secretary in Thatcher’s government and more recently Chairman of the Intelligence Committee, Malcolm Rifkind has witnessed the monumental political moments of recent times. This talk will offer an exceptional opportunity to hear first hand from a renowned expert in the complex field of international affairs.

The Wilton Park bar will be open before the talk.
