Women In Jazz

Join us for an evening that celebrates female jazz composers of the 20th century featuring a collection of songs from some of the finest musicians, including gems made famous by the likes of Billie Holiday, Nat King Cole and Ella Fitzgerald, interwoven with stories about life as a woman musician in a male-dominated genre.

Devised and presented by vocalist Rebecca Askew who is joined by Victoria Wilson on piano, John Bedford on bass and guest soloists, this promises to be a fascinating evening of sublime live music for both jazz and non-jazz fans alike!
