Well-known local historian Janet Pennington leads a walk through 600 years of Steyning’s pub and brewing history. The White Horse, The Chequer Inn and The Star are luckily still with us. See whether we can find any trace of other past breweries, malthouses, inns and public houses. A two-hour ramble (with plenty of stops) and time at the end for a drink at your favourite watering hole.
